The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a
Member Services Director
to join our team. The YMCA focuses on empowering people in all forms, by improving health and well-being and inspiring action in and across our neighborhoods. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The
Member Services Director
works with senior branch staff to implement member services strategies that focus on recruitment and retention of members. Key Responsibilities: Direct and organize member services team with a focus on member experience and retention. Coordinate and support program and membership enrollment and systems in support of member experience. Assist marketing efforts focused on internal/external marketing strategies and production of material to support member experience and retention. Track and utilize data to drive staffing schedule and experiential decisions. Distribute results, organize, and maintain reports. Supervise all aspects of membership accounting and processes to include all transactions. Key liaison to Association Engagement Center. Requirements: Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent knowledge and experience in communication, business, or related field that includes supervision, fiscal management, program development, staff, and volunteer development. Experience working with people and providing great customer service. Organized, proactive, and able to get things done. Comfortable using a computer. Able to assist the staff leadership team in reaching annual campaign goals by recruiting campaigners, making personal asks, and supporting branch events. Able to complete Child Abuse Prevention on the first day as well as other required online and on-person trainings as required. Able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act). Wage and Hours: $21.47 to $23.47 per hour, depending on qualifications. Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
