Sr. Program Manager, Payments , LATAM Payments We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join Amazon Latin America Payments Team to lead our partnership initiatives. This is a crucial role for improving the payment experience for Amazon customers shopping on Latin America through strategic partnerships with schemes, acquirers and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute partnership strategies with banks, financial institutions, schemes and payment service providers to enhance Amazon LATAM payment offerings.

Secure, sign‑up and manage working relationships with partners such as acquirers, issuers, schemes like VISA, MasterCard, Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) and Third Party Providers (3PPs).

Negotiate and finalize technical business contracts with banking partners, ensuring favorable terms for Technical Operations Amazon LATAM.

Drive Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through partners to maintain high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Tech, Legal, Finance) to align partnership goals with overall business objectives.

Coordinate E2E technical integrations and Security assessments, monitor and analyze partnership performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

Stay informed about industry trends, regulations and emerging technologies in the acquirers, PSPs and payments space.

Represent Amazon LATAM at industry events and conferences to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

Experience in program or project management.

Experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.

Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.

Bachelor's degree (BS).

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.

Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in driving end‑to‑end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.

Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders.

Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks.

Driving process improvements experience.
