Job Summary
CRH is seeking a skilled and proactive Plant Manager to lead plant operations and production activities. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in equipment maintenance and repair, while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will be a strong, people-focused leader with technical expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement. Job Location
This is an onsite position based in Fort Pierce, FL. Job Responsibilities
Lead and motivate plant personnel to meet daily production expectations while maintaining a safe, respectful, and collaborative work environment Perform and oversee hands-on maintenance and repair of plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations Promote and enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance across all departments Plan and optimize equipment layout, workflow, and workforce utilization Participate in the procurement of raw materials, supplies, and other production necessities Establish and manage work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet goals Apply knowledge of construction products and basic electronics, including programmable controllers Utilize Microsoft Excel to track production metrics, analyze performance data, and support operational reporting Perform additional duties as required, both temporary and permanent Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience as a Plant Manager in a similar industry (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair within a manufacturing environment Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set clear expectations, and hold employees accountable for daily performance Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and interpret spreadsheets, charts, and formulas Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures Ability to analyze and discuss production reports and P&L statements Experience in purchasing is preferred Proven ability to train and develop employees effectively What CRH Offers You
