We partner with some of the worlds largest healthcare and pharmaceutical companies—as well as leading sports organizations—to deliver outstanding digital experiences for patients and athletes. In this fast-paced role, your delivery leadership will turn strategy into shipped outcomes. Youll align stakeholders, orchestrate complex technical workstreams, and manage scope, risk, and dependencies across teams. Your work ensures solutions are compliant, secure, scalable, and delivered on time—so theyre not only functional and safe, but equitable, trusted, and genuinely impactful. Key Responsibilities
Own delivery from kickoff to launch:
Drive planning, execution, and release management across multiple squads and vendors; maintain integrated roadmaps, schedules, and RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies). Scope & requirements management:
Translate business goals into epics, features, and acceptance criteria; manage change control and keep scope aligned to budget and timelines. Technical coordination:
Partner with Engineering, Data/Analytics, Security, and QA to sequence work, unblock dependencies (APIs, data pipelines, integrations), and ensure architectural and non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, scalability) are met. Agile program facilitation:
Run sprint ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retros), backlog refinement, and quarterly PI/roadmap planning; track velocity, forecast delivery, and manage critical paths. Quality & compliance:
Ensure test strategies (unit/integration/E2E), validation, and documentation meet standards; support work in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, GxP, IRB where applicable) and accessibility (WCAG). Risk & stakeholder management:
Identify and mitigate risks early; communicate status clearly to executives and partners via dashboards, burndowns, and decision briefs. Budget & vendor oversight:
Build/track budgets, SOW deliverables, and invoices; align vendor SLAs, manage RACI across internal and external teams. Operational readiness:
Coordinate release plans, runbooks, and go-live checklists; ensure monitoring/alerting, on-call, and rollback procedures are in place. Data-informed delivery:
Define leading/lagging indicators and OKRs; use analytics and observability signals to inform prioritization and post-launch improvements. Process improvement:
Standardize templates (project charters, risk registers, change requests), mature PMO practices, and coach teams in effective delivery habits. Required Skills and Experience
Proficiency with delivery toolchains: Jira/Confluence or Azure DevOps, project planning (Smartsheet/Notion), and collaboration/whiteboarding (Miro/Figma for alignment). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, with
10+ years
managing technical software projects/programs in fast-paced, iterative environments. Proven track record delivering complex, multi-team initiatives (cloud services, APIs/integrations, data platforms, or mobile/web apps) from discovery through launch with measurable impact. Strong command of Agile/Lean practices (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC/DevOps concepts (CI/CD, environments, release trains). Excellent technical fluency—comfortable discussing architecture, integration patterns, data models, and security considerations with engineers and architects. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; adept at executive updates, risk negotiation, and cross-functional alignment. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
regulated industries
(healthcare/pharma) with working knowledge of HIPAA, GxP/CSV, privacy, and audit requirements. Background coordinating
data and integration work
(e.g., APIs, ETL/ELT, analytics pipelines; familiarity with FHIR/HL7 is a plus). Familiarity with modern cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure), observability (Datadog/New Relic/Splunk), and security best practices. Experience managing multi-vendor programs and near/offshore teams across time zones. PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM/SAFe, or equivalent credentials. Demonstrated ability to establish PMO standards, delivery playbooks, and reporting that scales across portfolios. Compensation
