TheSupervisor – Operations position will oversee all operations including pipelineoperations, mechanical maintenance, and environmental within their area while ensuringwe uphold a successful safety record. This position willadhere to all Partnership policies and procedures and operate within its budgetset forth annually by the Partnership. This position is located in South Texasand is a key component in insuring that assets are maintained safely. Supervisesday to day facility operations to meet required production rates andmonitors operating data to minimize problems and downtime. Ensuresthat established regulatory environmental and safety standards aremaintained. Supervises all emergency response activities anddecisions relative to the safety of the plant and the surrounding area. Supervisessubordinates in performing their job duties in a safe and efficient manner.Administers performance reviews for subordinates and administersdisciplinary action when warranted. Ensures all departmental manualsare kept current. Developsand administers training courses pertinent to Operations to ensurepersonnel qualifications are maintained to comply with all regulatoryrequirements. Developsand maintains operational procedures to ensure a safe and efficientoperation. Ensures operating parameters are within the limits of thedesign of the equipment. Participatesin RRC/DOT and PHMSA audits as well as maintains all required operationaldocumentation to stay within compliance. Requirements: Educationand/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To performthis job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential jobduty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: Highschool degree or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Minimumof 8 years industry experience required for this position. Previoussupervisory experience preferred. Proficientuse with Microsoft Office software products. Working Conditions: Thework environment characteristics described here are representative of those anemployee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Usually,normal office working conditions. Mustbe able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due toprolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasionalovernight travel may be required. Occasionalvisits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure tovarious materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditionsand loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
