Civil Engineer - Senior Project Manager - High Point, NC | Department: Engineering | Reports To: Engineering Director | FLSA: Exempt

Your Role at a Glance As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver civil engineering projects on time and within budget.
Own client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact.
Drive business growth, helping to shape marketing strategy and bring in new projects.
Uphold excellence, mentoring junior staff and enforcing quality standards.
Manage performance across financial, technical, and personnel metrics.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Oversight
Manage multiple land development projects from concept to completion.
Develop project budgets and schedules; ensure financial performance and client satisfaction.
Oversee design reviews and quality assurance.
Team Management & Mentorship
Lead, support, and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
Assist in recruiting, training, and performance reviews.
Client Engagement & Business Development
Serve as the face of FEI to clients - nurturing relationships and identifying new opportunities.
Participate in strategic planning and marketing initiatives to grow our client base.
Financial & Operational Management
Oversee work-in-progress and monthly billing cycles.
Manage collections and contribute to forecasting and resource planning.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
Experience: 10+ years in land development engineering, with at least 3 in a leadership or management role.
Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina; valid driver's license.
Tools: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite; Ajera experience is a plus.

Mon-Thu: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Fri: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM
