Job Description

The

EVConstruction Project Manager

will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of EV charging station construction projects. This role requires a seasoned individual with deep expertise in construction management, electrical infrastructure, and large-scale project execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing multimillion-dollar construction projects, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Execution:

Oversee the full lifecycle of EV infrastructure construction projects, from site selection and permitting to final commissioning. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Implement best practices for risk management, quality control, and safety compliance. Team & Stakeholder Management:

Lead and mentor a team of construction managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors. Collaborate with engineering, design, permitting, and procurement teams to streamline project execution. Manage relationships with local authorities, utility companies, and external vendors to ensure seamless coordination. Technical & Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all projects adhere to NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards, as well as state and local building codes. Oversee utility interconnection processes and manage grid integration challenges. Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to optimize construction strategies. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. Drive the adoption of new construction technologies and methodologies to improve project execution. Contribute to company-wide strategic planning for EV infrastructure expansion. Requirements

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in large-scale construction management, with at least 2 years focused on EV infrastructure, renewable energy, or electrical utility projects both in the private and public sector. Leadership:

Proven track record of managing complex, multimillion-dollar construction projects. Industry Knowledge:

Expertise in high-voltage electrical systems, distributed energy resources, and utility interconnection processes. Certifications (Preferred):

PMP (Project Management Professional), CCM (Certified Construction Manager), or EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program) certification. Regulatory Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of permitting, environmental regulations, and utility coordination for EV charging infrastructure. Experience and knowledge in public charging infrastructure and regulations. This role requires frequent travel to project sites across various locations. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
