Mechanical Project Manager and Estimator
My client is an Industrial Mechanical Contractor actively seeking a hybrid role that combines Project Management and Estimating responsibilities. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and supervising a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. This includes organizing and overseeing construction procedures to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. An excellent Project Manager should be well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures, capable of coordinating a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal results. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mind and strong organizational skills. The primary goal is to deliver projects on schedule, meet all requirements, and stay within budget. Primary Responsibilities
Negotiate contracts with external vendors and manage/coordinate scope of work. Obtain permits from appropriate authorities. Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, materials) throughout the project, with attention to budget constraints. Plan all construction operations and schedule phases to meet deadlines. Supervise labor work and provide guidance as needed. Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards; report issues. Follow up on warranty work and maintain contact with the customer to ensure 100% satisfaction. Demonstrate outstanding communication and negotiation skills. Exhibit excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Be a team player with leadership qualities.
