Genuine Collision Center is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Assembly and Disassembly Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive assembly and disassembly, with a meticulous approach to ensuring that all parts are handled with precision and care.

While performing bodywork may be a part of the role, the primary focus will be on expertly dismantling and assembling automotive components to facilitate repairs and restorations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly & Disassembly: Efficiently and accurately disassemble vehicles to prepare for maintenance, repair, or modifications, ensuring all components are documented and stored safely. Expertly reassemble vehicles post-repair, ensuring all parts fit correctly and function as intended. Parts Management: Maintain an organized inventory of all components removed during the disassembly process, tracking their condition and placing orders for replacements when necessary. Collaboration: Work closely with body technicians, painters, and other team members to streamline workflow and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner. Quality Control: Inspect and assess vehicle components during both assembly and disassembly to identify any damages or defects, reporting findings to the supervisor or lead technician. Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain records of work performed, including a list of parts used and any additional modifications or repairs completed. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including proper handling of tools and equipment. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to automotive assembly and disassembly to enhance skills and contribute to team training initiatives Qualifications:

Proven experience in automotive assembly and disassembly, preferably within a body shop environment. Strong knowledge of vehicle components and systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with hand and power tools used in automotive repair. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in automotive repair is a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Based on experience
