We provide personal and professional support, training and development and flexible employment opportunities.**About the role**HealthFitness is seeking a part-time, 6 hours per week, Aquatics Lead at our client site located in Downers Grove, IL.Responsible for safety, member engagement, and the quality of the aquatic programs during your shifts. Serves as a lifeguard and responsible for pool deck maintenance and aquatic facility supervision.
Availability: Sundays from 1:45PM - 6:15PM### Key Accountabilities* ### Monitor patrons using the facility and enforce/explain rules as necessary. Respond appropriately to any emergency situations.* ### Track and monitor pool chemistry results and report facility issues to Aquatics Manager and General Manager.* ### Provide leadership to facility cleaning, pool deck maintenance, and aquatic program supervision.* ### Assist Aquatics Manager with staff communications and attend all required staff meetings and trainings. Provide customer service and communication with members.* ### Other duties as needed/assigned.### Minimum Requirements* ### High School Diploma or GED.* ### Current Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 45 days of start.* ### Ideal applicants will also have American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification and/or ARC Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification.
###* ### Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.* ### Flu vaccination required.Compensation: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr.
