Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) East Rutherford, NJ September 1st – November 3rd (Full-Time, 5 Days/Week) School-Based Setting (Pre-K–3rd Grade, Primarily Preschool & Self-Contained) Compensation is commensurate with experience. About the Role: We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school-based setting. You’ll support students from Pre-K through 3rd grade, with a focus on preschool and self-contained classrooms, helping them develop essential communication skills that support academic and social success. This is a full-time position, running from September 1st through November 3rd, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment. What You’ll Do: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in a school setting with a variety of communication needs Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff to integrate services into students’ daily routines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure continued growth Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations Partner with families to support communication development both at school and at home What We’re Looking For: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology New Jersey Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) Certification Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Familiarity with IEPs and experience working with special education students Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills A passion for empowering young learners through speech and language support Position Details: Schedule: Monday–Friday, full school day for 6 weeks Student Population: Pre-K through 3rd grade, with a focus on preschool and self-contained classrooms Setting: Public school in East Rutherford, NJ Pay Rate: up to $85/hour, depending on experience
