R006092**Critical Care Liaison Nurse****Full time ongoing****Malvern location****Cabrini offers:*** Flexible work arrangements* Competitive hourly rates plus 12% super and 17.5% leave loading* Up to $15,900 salary packaging and $2,650 meal & entertainment benefits* Career growth opportunities in a supportive environment* Positive workplace culture with ongoing peer support and supervision* Vibrant location in Malvern - close to public transport with discounted Myki faresCabrini is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Critical Care Liaison Nurse** (CCLN) to coordinate our **Critical Care Outreach Services** (CCOS) and lead a dedicated team of **Critical Care Outreach Nurses** (CCONs).This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to serve as the bridge between our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and hospital wards — providing advanced clinical support, leading response teams, and driving best practice in managing complex and deteriorating patients.**About the Role**This role reports to the Clinical Services Director, Surgical Services, and works closely with the ICU, general ward nursing teams, and hospital leadership.You’ll also participate in key committees such as the Recognising & Responding to Acute Deterioration (RRAD) Committee and represent Cabrini in relevant internal and external forums.As the **CCLN**, you will:* Lead and coordinate the **Critical Care Outreach Service** across Cabrini* Provide clinical leadership to a team of outreach nurses* Ensure timely and safe patient transitions from ICU to ward* Support ward staff in the care of deteriorating or complex patients* Respond to MET and Code Blue calls as part of the Rapid Response Team* Act as a critical care resource for both ICU and general ward staff* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research, and staff development**About You**You are an experienced critical care clinician with a passion for improving patient outcomes and supporting staff through expert guidance and leadership.
