Position Summary

This RN, Clinical Supervisor provides operational leadership for the Emergency Department during the assigned shift, directing and coordinating unit operations according to department policies, procedures, standards and standard work. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individuals and processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care, as well as managing material and labor resources within the department budget. Success depends on professional communication with patients, families, physicians, and staff to optimize workflow and resolve problems. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

Ability to prioritize and multitask. *Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications/Work Experience

5+ years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care setting. Supervisor and/or nursing leadership experience preferred. Education/Licensure/Certification

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current California Registered Nursing (RN) License required. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Card required. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Card required. Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Card required. NIHSS Certification required.
