We hear you! We are pleased to announce more changes to our Southwest Region Resource Pool teams, giving you options to choose the best schedule to fit your life. Scheduling commitments and expectations: Choose the level that best fits your schedule/availability. An 18-week (3 scheduling periods) commitment is required. All CSO team members report to the NTX CSO department leaders. Commit to 36 hours per 6-week schedule; hours are not guaranteed. Works at Huguley and willing to float to Texas Health Mansfield, with minimum competency to work 1 area/unit. Commit to 48 hours per pay period; hours are not guaranteed; works at Huguley and willing to float to Texas Health Mansfield, with minimum competency to work 2 area/units. May request 1-week unpaid vacation during commitment period. No approved time off during holiday weeks. Must provide manager 4 weeks’ notice for vacation requests. Commit to 72 hours per pay period; hours are not guaranteed; works at Huguley and willing to float to Texas Health Mansfield, with minimum competency to work 2 area/units. If you miss a committed shift during your contracted period, you will need to make it up within 6 weeks. Tier Shift Requirements:

If unable to meet Tier shift requirements for a given 6-week scheduling period, may result in a Tier change to a lower tier level or termination of employment. Refer to HR policies related to standby status, absences, holiday shift absences, and weekend shift absences. Incentive Pay:

Not eligible for special pay shift incentives until CSO requirements have been met. Chapters of care : The community you’ll be caring for includes spiritual support (on-call chaplains 24/7), award-winning facilities, and teamwork toward Magnet status and Pathways designation. Location and community : Located about 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, near TCU in Burleson ISD school district with low cost of living. The role you’ll contribute The registered nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide continuity of nursing care for a specific group of patients, consistent with the Emergency Room and hospital policies and procedures. The value you’ll bring to the team Provide patient care through assessment and prioritization of needs to facilitate optimum care. Evaluate patients upon arrival and determine priority of care. Assign patients to appropriate treatment areas based on observations, vital signs, and history. Inform charge nurse and/or physician of urgent/emergency cases; monitor patient census and flow in the ED. Perform ongoing assessments and maintain documentation in the ER record. Recognize life-threatening situations and implement preventive measures. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : BSN from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent degree program. Current Texas RN license or permit (or in a qualifying compact state).
