Located in: 2 hour radius of Portland, OR. Reports to: Tulsa

Reports to: Field Service Supervisor

Collaborates with: All Departments

Primary Responsibility:

Supporting customers with on-site service, technical support, and training. Responsibilities include commissioning new SCR equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and telephone support. The technician also prepares reports on work performed and equipment performance. Typically works in a non-smoking environment.

What You'll Do:

Commission systems supplied by MIRATECH on new installations.

Perform routine maintenance and service on existing products.

Provide telephone troubleshooting and parts identification support.

Coordinate site activities and participate in project meetings.

Conduct post-commissioning training on operations and maintenance.

Submit daily reports to customers and internal staff.

Follow up with customers after service work.

Stay updated on company products and services.

Plan work schedules efficiently.

Maintain calibration of test equipment and tools.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of industrial instrumentation & controls, including transmitters and PID controls.

Proficiency with AC/DC circuits and relay logic.

Strong analytical skills and interest in engines, controls, emissions.

Willingness to learn and develop expertise.

Ability to work independently in a flexible environment.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Willing to travel 60-75% overnight, especially during peak seasons.

0-4 years of field service experience or equivalent.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in MS Office; must pass a test.

Valid driver's license required.

Foreign language skills are a plus.

Ability to obtain a passport.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel for extended periods.

Work on uneven terrain, scaffolds, ladders, and elevated platforms.

Maintain stamina during demanding tasks, including travel and shifts.

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs, occasionally heavier with assistance.

Transport tools and equipment across sites.

Perform tasks at heights using lifts and fall protection.

Work in confined spaces following safety procedures.

Maintain awareness around machinery and energized systems.

Work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.

Maintain clear vision and sensory perception.

Detect abnormal sounds, smells, vibrations.

Follow instructions, interpret technical drawings, communicate hazards clearly.
