Altus Engineering, partnered with Davis Defense Group (DDG) is seeking a Human Systems Integration (HSI) Engineer, to provide support for the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Program Manager Motor Transportation (PM MT). This position is contingent upon award About Us:

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment of ground vehicle system requirements across all HSI domains, including: Human Factors Engineering Manpower, Personnel, and Training (MPT) Safety and Occupational Health Force Protection and Survivability Ergonomics & Usability Optimize human performance to enhance total system effectiveness and reduce system ownership costs. Consider the complete system lifecycle, including mission equipment, operators, maintainers, support personnel, training systems, and support infrastructure. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of systems engineers, mechanical engineers, acquisition specialists, and logistics professionals to provide design input. Integrate HSI considerations in system design and throughout the development lifecycle to ensure operational success and user-centered outcomes. Qualifications/Desired Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Five (5) years of experience in Human Systems Integration or related discipline.
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance
Proven expertise in at least one HSI domain with working knowledge across others.
Strong collaboration, communication, and analytical skills.
Experience in mechanical, structural, electrical, or electronic design
Experience working in defense, aerospace, or other high-reliability industry
Experience with military vehicle systems is highly desirable
