Day, Evenings, Nights, Weekends

Employment Status:

Full-Time (.75 or greater)

Hours per Pay Period:

0.90 = 72 hours every two weeks (Non-Exempt)

Starting Wage DOE:

$37.41 - 57.71

May be eligible for

$20,000 sign on bonus

May be eligible for relocation assistance

Essential Job Functions

Utilize a holistic approach and evidence-based nursing practices to incorporate the nursing process into a goal-directed plan of care for the patient; collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.

Ensure complete, accurate and timely entry into the patient medical record consistent with patient condition and documentation guidelines.

Adhere to Billings Clinic safety standards, policies and practices. Anticipate and identify problems and safety issues, then initiate appropriate action.

Maintain skill/knowledge and application of equipment specific to area, pharmacology and laboratory values based on disease process or status.

Utilize evidence-based practice within the specialty area and apply performance improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of care.

Incorporate the Magnet Model in transforming the work environment and quality of nursing care; pursue professional growth and complete required education.

Demonstrate collaborative, supportive, and caring behaviors in communication with patients, families, visitors, and the interdisciplinary team.

Consider the appropriateness of care based on the population-specific needs of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications Education

Minimum Associate Degree, ASN

ASN RNs with less than 5 years of RN experience must commit to completing their Bachelor of Nursing degree within 4 years after hire; Billings Clinic will help support the cost through financial assistance

Preferred Bachelors Degree, BSN

Experience

Nursing experience relevant to area of service

Demonstration of progressively more responsible duties and/or previous supervisory experience, preferred

Certifications and Licenses

Current Montana state license as Registered Nurse At hire

Healthcare Provider CPR certification required

ACLS certification preferred or ability to complete ACLS training within one year of hire
