Automotive Dispatcher/Shop Manager

Job Responsibilities: Planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the client. Allocating technician and workshop time and resources to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with policy and the technician's skill level. Managing software dispatch systems and maintaining customer relationships with dispatch technicians. Setting work priorities considering repeat repairs or clients waiting. Accurately estimating shop capacity and load, and providing reports upon request. Reviewing job status frequently, logging status updates, and reporting changes in time or cost estimates. Providing customers with updates and building positive relationships. Ensuring proper repair documentation, including noting complaints, causes, and corrections on every repair order with punch time for each operation.
