to learn how our innovative team is helping connect, protect, and power our planet. Qorvo is seeking an Equipment Engineering Technician to support the Global Operations (GO) Prototype organization. The GO Prototype team supports quick-turn manufacturing of die-to-reel, module assembly, and electrical test services for Qorvo. This candidate will be part of the Die Processing Services (DPS) team and will support specialized DPS processes and equipment to achieve consistent quality, high yields, fast turn-around times, and cost-effective solutions for our internal customers. Responsibilities:

Provide DPS equipment support, sustainment, and improvements for wafer-level and DTR processes. Follow and adhere to specifications for DPS equipment, including preventive maintenance, unplanned maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensure a safe working environment in DPS operations. Perform equipment setups, recipe creations, and processing of DPS lots to meet customer deliverables. Provide manufacturability feedback to DPS Engineers to improve processes. Support DPS manufacturing processes to meet quality, performance, and cycle time standards. Analyze and optimize machine settings, tooling, and process parameters to improve quality targets. Support process capability studies and root cause analysis (e.g., DOE, FMEA, SPC). Support training of operators and technicians on manufacturing processes. Lead in applying Lean principles, with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications:

Two-year technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred. At least 4 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing. Experience in the transformation (DPS) of semiconductors and their assembly into modules or other packages is desirable. Experience with DPS semiconductor manufacturing processes, including CondoX patented process (wafer taping, resin dispensing), wafer back grinding, blade dicing, stealth laser dicing, wafer expansion, and Die to Reel (DTR), is preferred. DPS expertise related to semiconductor devices such as Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) and Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW). Excellent communication skills at all levels of the Prototype organization. Ability to engage others and collaborate across functions for problem prevention and resolution. Proven ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
