Logan Regional Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to work in our Radiology department performing mainly abdomen, small parts, and vascular studies on GE Logic 9 equipment. This position is full-time nights 6:30pā7a (539958). The successful candidate will work 3/12 hour night shifts and be on minimal call on some weekends. LRMC is fully accredited by The Joint Commission. Perform ultrasound examinations of abdomen, small parts, and vascular systems with GE Logic 9 equipment. Prepare and position patients, select appropriate techniques, and document findings accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and other staff to ensure timely and accurate interpretations. Maintain equipment and adhere to safety, quality, and infection control standards. Participate in on-call schedule as assigned, with minimal call on weekends. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Radiology program. RDMS preferred or RDMS eligible with the ability to become registered within 2 years of hire. Excellent communication and bedside manner with the ability to educate patients and make them feel comfortable. Prefer at least 1 year of Ultrasound experience but will consider new graduates.
