Position Details This is a part-time EEG technologist position at the telemetry EEG lab at UCLA Medical Centers. The position may require rotation to other UCLA sites. The individual should be capable of performing routine and long-term EEG setups with minimal supervision. Basic EEG acquisition skills should be second nature, and artifact detection/elimination skills should be adequate. The technologist should be able to describe EEG findings in a review style format to assist physicians and be flexible to learn new protocols such as Adult and Pediatric Telemetries, ICU continuous EEG, Outpatient, and Portable Studies.
Experience Requirements A minimum of three years of experience in related fields is required for the PRN EEG title. Those not meeting this requirement may be considered for the EEG or Senior Technologist title based on credentials.
Salary Range
EEG Tech: $41.60 - $54.87
Senior EEG Tech: $45.06 - $59.45
Principal EEG Technologist: $59.64 - $78.69
Hourly Range: $41.60 - $78.69

BLS Certification - required
ABRET Certification - R. EEG T. and CNIM - preferred
