Assisting with and implementing one or more MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs Performing MIL-STD-882 System Safety Program tasks and analyses, involving management (task series 100), analysis (task series 200), evaluation (task series 300), and verification (task series 400). Assisting with analysis of engineering hardware and electrical drawings and schematics assessing for fault tolerance, latent hazards, and safety requirements compliance Working with test and tactical operating and maintenance procedures to assure the proper administrative controls are in place Provide creative solutions to maximize safety functionality without impeding critical performance. Clearance Required: Secret Qualification Must have Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. ? An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position. Experience with Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical or Firmware Engineering. Experience with DoD System Safety Programs e.g. Experience with system and software safety implementation in Agile Development environment Experience interfacing with Human Systems Integration showcasing execution of Human Factors Engineering tasking involving MIL-STD-1472.
