Coke Florida – Transportation Planner

Location: Hollywood, FL (Mon–Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

What You Will Do

As a Transportation Planner, you will balance service and cost for freight movement, optimizing shipments in the BluJay Transportation Management System. You will develop strategies, maintain carrier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in transportation cost effectiveness.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan inbound/outbound truckload shipments, ensuring cost and service goals.
• Tender shipments according to Coca‑Cola Florida rules and communicate with carriers to meet delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with deployment planners, receiving locations, and carriers to guarantee on‑time delivery and manage late/uncleared loads.
• Maintain BluJay BI reporting and carrier KPI’s, reconcile daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for management.
• Assist in multi‑functional operations, forecasting, supply chain, and logistics projects.
• Develop supply‑optimization initiatives to drive high customer service while achieving inventory and cost targets.
• Perform other duties supporting Coca‑Cola Florida business needs.

For This Role, You Will Need

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Materials Management, or Warehouse/Manufacturing.
• 1+ year experience utilizing a Transportation Management System.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Just‑in‑Time principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment within a flat organization.
• Sound judgment and decision making based on facts.
• Prioritization and time‑management skills.
• Attention to detail and continuous process improvement.
• Self‑motivation to improve capabilities of self and others.
• Collaboration with cross‑functional teams at all levels.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
