HC Constructors, a leading heavy civil contractor based in New Jersey, is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team!

Base Pay Range

$35.00/hr - $43.00/hr

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment (excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, etc.)
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections
• Maintain service records and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently
• Work both in the shop and in the field as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
• CDL or equipment certifications a plus
• Ability to track, document and report on ongoing projects

Additional Qualifications

• Driver’s License
• Heavy Equipment Repair
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
