PepperPointe Partnerships is seeking a Doctor Recruiter to join our team. The Doctor Recruiter will report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and serve as the primary link between PepperPointe and associate doctor candidates, dental schools and residency programs.

***This role is based onsite at our Lexington, KY location***

Responsibilities

  • Develop an annual Dentist Recruitment and Development Plan.
  • Recruit, retain and hire dentists as defined and specified.
  • Maintain a candidate pipeline and database reflecting documentation of positions open, interviews scheduled and offers made.
  • Identify and source targeted dentists using a variety of creative recruitment methods, including managing all job‑related advertising.
  • Research and participate in conferences, job fairs and varied dental recruitment opportunity events.
  • Develop relationships with dental schools and residency programs.
  • Coordinate and arrange residency information events such as lunch and learns, virtual presentations and dinners.
  • Assist with the development of promotional materials such as banners and posters for recruitment events.
  • Present opportunities with detail and clarity, providing information about PepperPointe and its supported practices, compensation plan, benefits, and specific elements of the position.
  • Lead the doctor recruitment process, which should include the following key elements
    • Prepare job descriptions and develop job postings.
    • Review CVs/applications and phone screen all candidates.
    • Create a comprehensive practice description for each opportunity.
    • Arrange interview times and coordinate with partner doctors, PepperPointe team members and candidates.
    • Direct, organize and coordinate all aspects of candidate itineraries, agendas and site visits including travel and hotel reservations, practice practices and community tours, appointments with partner doctors and lunch/dinner reservations.
    • Draft or revise provider employment contracts during the recruitment process.
    • Perform as conduit between hiring practices and candidates.
    • Negotiate salary, problem‑solve and counsel, establishing rapport with the job candidate.
    • Create and deliver offer letters to candidates and address necessary contract negotiations.
  • Follow up with all candidates and referring parties in a timely manner.
  • Monitor budget and perform to keep it within monetary guidelines.
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues and team members around all doctor recruitment and new hire updates.
  • Stay current on regional and national dentist hiring trends and practices; research competitors’ activities to keep informed of changes.
  • Provide input to improve recruitment–related processes.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in computer applications such as word processing, Excel, email, database management and presentation software.
  • Excellent communication skills including negotiation skills; must be persistent and persuasive.
  • Must be able to establish rapport and effective working relationships with physicians and clinic administrators.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and self‑motivation.
  • Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful and grammatically correct written reports, letters and memoranda.
  • Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate and make decisions relating to assigned tasks.
  • Very strong customer service orientation, positive attitude, highly self‑motivated, directed and change oriented.
  • Flexible schedule required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Public/Community Relations, Health Related Fields or equivalent experience.
  • Some local and national travel is required for presentations, events and select industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-4 years recruiting experience is preferred; physician, healthcare, or agency recruiting experience preferred.
