Generalist HR
Join Aludyne as a Human Resources Generalist. This role supports day‑to‑day HR operations at our Lake Michigan Shoreline Campus, providing services to the plant’s hourly and salaried workforce with a focus on recruitment and plant support.
Job Type: Full‑time
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruitment efforts: post jobs, evaluate applicants, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, support hiring decisions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking system and recruitment dashboards.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Administer employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
- Maintain and update HRIS systems and personnel records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities.
- Process payroll for hourly workforce.
- Work with HR team to resolve employee relations issues.
- Seek continuous improvement in overall HR practices and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of HR experience required; 5–10 years preferred.
- Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- SHRM‑CP or PHR certification is a plus.
