As a Human Resources Generalist, you’ll play a vital role in attracting, engaging, and supporting top talent at our corporate office in Dania Beach, FL. You’ll manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, associate relations, and engagement initiatives, while ensuring compliance and supporting our culture of continuous improvement. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll collaborate across multiple teams, drive HR processes, and help shape a positive workplace experience.

Performance Management, Training, and Associate Relations

  • Serve as the main HR contact for corporate associates, responding to inquiries, finding solutions, and escalating as needed.
  • Support annual, mid-year performance review, onboarding processes.
  • Provide guidance on associate relations, including counseling, policy interpretation, and investigations.
  • Facilitate the termination process, conduct exit interviews, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Stay current on legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
  • Manage corporate office associate recognition program.
  • Support training and development programs delivered to corporate associates.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Manage electronic files, new hire paperwork, I-9s, unemployment claims, and confidential records in accordance with company, state, and federal laws.
  • Maintain associate data in the HRIS, including timecard and payroll review. Audits on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage leaves of absences for corporate associates and support benefits open enrollment.
  • Create and distribute HR communications.
  • Ensure compliance with HR-related federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., Workers’ Compensation, FMLA, FLSA, EEO, FCRA).
  • Assist in documenting procedures and creating materials to support HR activities.
  • Create and manage data analytics reporting and tracking metrics to support HR initiatives and decision-making.
  • Support HR related projects that extend beyond the corporate office and align with companywide initiatives, such as associate handbook, intranet page and recognition programs.

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment: post positions, screen candidates, communicate with candidates, schedule interviews, extend offers, and review background checks.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate onboarding with hiring managers.
  • Maintain and update job descriptions.
  • Conduct internal and external salary benchmarking.

Associate Engagement & Culture

  • Plan, coordinate, and communicate company events with the Engagement Team.
  • Support social purpose initiatives and organize volunteer events for our associates.
  • Maintain an events calendar and analyze associate survey results to develop action plans that boost engagement.

Other responsibilities

Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HR team and business needs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Minimum three years of related HR experience.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS software, and internet/AI research; ADP experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of state, local, and federal employment laws.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong administrative, analytical, attention to detail, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player able to build effective relationships across regional and remote teams.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Hybrid in office located in Dania Beach, FL
