Responsibilities
- Disinfect touch‑points and wipe surfaces.
- Ensure restrooms and terminals are clean, including furniture, glass, and surrounding areas.
- Respond to janitorial emergencies.
- Provide basic floor care tasks such as vacuuming, daily carpet spotting, sweeping, and mopping.
- Confirm all equipment is in good working condition.
- Dust, empty trash, stock restrooms, clean walls, windows, and countertops.
- Communicate with supervisors about inventory needs.
Benefits
SEIU benefits include medical, dental, paid time off, paid sick days, and paid holidays. Employees must complete 1040 hours of work and maintain 120 hours a month to be eligible.
Requirements
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read and write simple instructions and short correspondence.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Lift and handle up to 50 pounds; perform tasks involving lifting, carrying, bending, and pulling.
- Speak and understand basic English.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and make independent decisions.
