Overview
International Literary Properties (ILP) is a global company acquiring and investing in intellectual property rights to books, plays, and other literary works. We work closely with authors, families, agents, publishers, and producers to secure, protect, and grow literary and theatrical legacies for future generations.
Role Summary
The Executive Assistant (EA) and Office Manager will support ILP’s Chairwoman, CFO, and senior leaders from New York office. The role is fully remote and full-time.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule cross‑department meetings, and coordinate domestic and international travel.
- File monthly expense reports, take board meeting minutes, and act as company secretary.
- Administer company software (Microsoft 365, Dropbox, etc.) and organize office storage.
- Assist Legal and Acquisition teams with due diligence requests and target acquisition projects.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as an Executive Assistant or Office Manager is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritize time‑sensitive duties.
- Collaborative, works well as part of a team.
- Interest in books and/or prior knowledge of the publishing industry is a plus.
Compensation
$55k‑60k all‑in (base salary + discretionary bonus), depending on experience.
