About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Lab Technician to support laboratory operations and conduct analyses and testing of materials to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples according to established protocols and procedures.
• Calculate and report analytical results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in general lab housekeeping, including sample sorting and disposal.
• Clean glassware to meet appropriate analytical cleanliness standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas used during the workday.
• Adhere to the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan.
• Communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing.
• Background in instrumentation with proficiency in GC, ICP, and Calorimeter.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Previous relevant laboratory experience desirable but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the waste industry preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software.

Physical Requirements

• Climb stairs.
• Stand and work on feet for the majority of shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work outside and collect samples from tank trailers; climb ladders as needed.
