Salary and Location

Austin, TX. Pay: $120,000 - $130,000 per year.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Supervisor will play a crucial role in the general ledger close process, U.S. GAAP financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal control requirements. This position requires a hands‑on, detail‑oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a mix of experience in a public accounting firm and in the industry working in a public company environment, and will be adept at handling complex accounting tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in a publicly traded company and/or public accounting firm (Big 4 or national firm preferred) auditing public clients is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace and/or manufacturing industry accounting.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas).
