Schedule is M‑F 5:30 pm to 2:30 am, with the first shift of the week starting on Sunday evening at 5:30 and the last shift ending on Friday morning at 2:30 am.

Responsibilities

Support warehouse operations by transporting materials over designated routes and ensuring safe operation of vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of orders. Ensure that material loaded on the truck is listed on the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and is secured for safe transport from store to destination. Unload materials for customers at each delivery location in an orderly fashion while verifying that material is correct based on the Ship Ticket. Perform daily detailed inspection of the vehicle to ensure general maintenance and safety of the vehicle. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing products for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in an orderly fashion. This is a safety‑sensitive position; the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre‑employment drug test.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a commercial motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 10,001 lbs. or more.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License in state of residence with 3 years driving history.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no type A violation or no more than one type B violation in the past 3 years.
• Reading, comprehension, writing, calculation, input accuracy, reasoning, and analysis.
• Physical requirements: frequent driving in all weather conditions; safe exposure to events such as excessive noise and moving machinery; frequently walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, and reach; regularly handle objects and lift up to 75 pounds; physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle by the medical qualification standards in Sec. 391.41; a Department of Transportation physical exam will be conducted by a licensed medical examiner. USDOT’s drug and alcohol testing regulation applies.
