Overview
Delivery Driver – Cardinal Health. Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and route requirements. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers while maintaining safety standards and DOT regulations.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 3:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m., 8‑hour shift.
- Rotating on‑call, weekend, and holiday shifts; flexible to work different days, hours and schedules based on business need.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and make deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle.
- Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, perform testing, and load/unload containers.
- Use handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information and navigation.
- Process packages returned from customer locations.
- Maintain vehicles in proper working condition and perform minor roadside repairs.
- Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.
- Verify accuracy of labeling on outgoing shipments.
- Prepare receipts for products delivered to customers.
- Handle and dispose of waste and used materials following safety standards.
- Maintain accurate log books and vehicle inspection records.
- Participate in required training (biohazard waste handling, blood‑borne pathogens, security awareness, dosimetry, radiation safety, contamination testing, HIPAA, fall prevention, ergonomics, safe driving procedures, route optimization).
- Perform any other duties required to ensure a safe and efficient pharmacy operation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Prior delivery driving experience a plus.
- Ability to lift containers up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions, day or night.
- Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on‑call, rotating shifts, overtime as needed.
- Computer and tablet proficiency.
