School Registered Nurse – Fresno, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Administer first aid and manage illness or injury cases during school hours.
• Provide health assessments, screenings, and immunization documentation in compliance with school policies.
• Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with chronic conditions or special healthcare needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure effective student care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Educate students and staff on health promotion and disease prevention.

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with school nursing experience.
• Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent health issues relevant to K‑12 populations.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a school environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of school health policies and state regulatory requirements.
