Our client is seeking a bilingual (Spanish and English) Payroll & HR Generalist responsible for managing all payroll functions and supporting a range of human resources programs and processes. This individual will ensure payroll accuracy, maintain employee records, support benefits administration, and assist with onboarding and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll and maintain accurate time and attendance records.
  • Review time clock data, address missing or incorrect punches, and ensure PTO and attendance accuracy.
  • Prepare payroll reports, wage verifications, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Manage vacation, sick time, 401(k) contributions, and employee deductions.
  • Maintain HRIS data, including new hires, terminations, wage changes, and garnishments.
  • Coordinate with staffing agencies on temporary employees and track attendance.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and basic safety training.
  • Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and 401(k) enrollments.
  • Prepare and maintain government and compliance reporting (ACA, census data, E-Verify, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate and organized HR files, including I-9s and employee records.
  • Support safety initiatives, including meeting documentation and first aid supply maintenance.
  • Order office supplies and perform additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in HR, Accounting, or related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish required.
  • Experience with Paycor or similar HRIS/payroll systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
