Set to open its doors in late 2025, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 170 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Job Description The Executive Assistant carries out administrative work on behalf of the General Manager and Executive Committee, ensuring all tasks are organized and completed on time so that strategic duties can be maximized. Act as the first point of contact for the GM, intaking all correspondence through email, calls, chats, etc. Manage and maintain the GM's calendar; organize meetings, events and outings on behalf of the GM. Book and arrange travel, transport and accommodation for the GM/EC. Submit and process expense reports for the GM as needed. Keep the GM, Executive Committee and hotel informed of key tasks and upcoming deadlines. Assist with and coordinate operations, including attending meetings, minuting and sending follow‑up actions for necessary calls and projects. Create, edit and proof presentations, reports and general correspondence in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook. Represent the GM and Delano Miami Beach in a respectful manner, maintaining close relationships with all vendors and stakeholders. Handle all business matters discreetly. Work closely with all departments, head‑office support teams and hotel stakeholders on tasks and projects necessary for the GM. Perform other duties as directed and as required. Participate in routine hospitality service tasks as needed to provide exceptional service. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience as an executive assistant or similar, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment. Excellent relational and confidentiality skills; always exercise discretion. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to manage schedules, coordinate travel and perform office administration. Knowledge of hospitality operations, processes and demands. Excellent verbal and written communication and a great listener. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Ability to multitask, work in a fast‑paced environment and pay close attention to detail. Independent and collaborative; promotes teamwork. Fast learner with a growth mindset, willing to try new approaches. Professional attitude, diplomacy and ability to handle difficult situations.
