The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Manufacturing Supervisor you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Provide direct supervision to hourly technical employees
Inspire integrity by upholding and complying with Solventum policies and guidelines
Provide leadership for assigned operations by fostering cross‑functional teamwork and communicating goals of the organization to employees
Review operational issues with the quality and engineering teams and use available resources to resolve process, maintenance, equipment and related technical problems
Determine priorities daily, allocate work assignments, communicate expectations, and monitor workflow
Review department expenses, overtime hours, and scrap and yield loss to recommend cost savings programs
Conduct department crew meetings to review team performance and celebrate successes.
Evaluate employee performance and provide necessary coaching, feedback and disciplinary actions
Lead and participate in Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement activities
Complete administrative activities such as time reporting, attendance control and vacation planning
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher AND seven years of experience in a Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Supply Chain in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED AND eleven or more years of experience working in a Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Supply Chain in a private, public, government or military environment AND seven years of managing experience in a Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Supply Chain in a private, public, government or military environment.
Technical proficiency in medical device repair or complex electronics repair
MS Office proficiency
Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and project experience

Onsite San Antonio, TX, USA
Travel
May include up to 10% of domestic/international travel

Compensation & Benefits
Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $94,018 - $114,911, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
