Central Admin Communications Coordinator

Summary The Central Admin Communications Coordinator supports the mission and vision of St. Andrew’s by coordinating and implementing communication efforts across digital, print, and in‑person channels. This role ensures clarity, consistency, and creativity in how St. Andrew’s connects with its congregation and community.
Essential Responsibilities
Write, edit, and proofread copy to ensure clear, accurate, and engaging communication.
Coordinate day‑to‑day communications across multiple platforms (web, email, print, social media).
Manage and maintain website content and updates (WordPress).
Support creation and distribution of church‑wide emails, newsletters, and campaigns (MailChimp, Planning Center Online).
Assist with graphic design needs using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
Help schedule and track projects in Asana, ensuring deadlines are met.
Implement and maintain consistent St. Andrew’s branding in all communications.
Provide basic social media support, including scheduling and monitoring posts.
Collaborate with Central Admin and other ministry teams to ensure smooth communication flow.
Qualifications
Personal relationship with Jesus and commitment to spiritual growth.
Excellent written communication skills, with attention to grammar, detail, and tone.
Strong editing and proofreading skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Collaborative and flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of social media platforms and communication best practices.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
Experience with Asana, MailChimp, and Planning Center Online (preferred, not required).
Experience with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Mac computers.
