Position:
SAP ABAP HCM Consultant
Location:
Dallas, TX – Day 1 onsite
Duration:
1 year
Experience:
10+ years in SAP HR ABAP programming within HR/Payroll modules
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of custom solutions in SAP HCM (PA, OM, PY, TM, and Benefits).
Develop and maintain ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, and Workflows.
Collaborate with functional HR teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions.
Review and approve technical specifications, ensuring completeness and adherence to standards.
Optimize existing code and troubleshoot complex issues across HR modules.
Support integration with SuccessFactors, Payroll, and third‑party systems.
Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, naming conventions, and documentation standards.
Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and quality assurance activities.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior ABAP developers.
Lead technical workshops and contribute to solution architecture discussions.
Qualifications
Mid‑Senior level expertise required.
Experience in S/4 HANA (H4S4) is a plus.
Experience with BTP and Integration Suite is a plus.
Experience in at least one end‑to‑end project implementation.
