Amentum is seeking a
Mid-Level Counterintelligence Analyst
to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C. area.
Responsibilities
Assess foreign intelligence, international terrorist, and technological collection threats directed against DOE personnel, resources, S&T, facilities and programs.
Produce CI products for circulation within DOE, and for external dissemination throughout the USIC.
Develop liaison contacts within the USIC to further research and analytical objectives and goals of the Program.
Work with the Program Director to contribute to the integration of field and headquarters analysis.
Make oral presentations, which convey ideas, facts, conclusions, estimates, and projections to a variety of DOE and USIC personnel.
Prepare a variety of written communications and documents, including but not limited to reports, national security studies, and policy recommendations at the direction of the CI management.
Requirements
Active Top Secret Clearance
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college relevant to geopolitical or national security studies is preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in intelligence analysis, which may be a combination of private sector, civil service, or military.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and proven performance delivering high‑quality products under sometimes seemingly enormous pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Extensive knowledge of CI tradecraft, analytic standards and integrity, methodology and tools.
Knowledge of adversary methodologies and collection interests.
Compensation & Benefits The annual starting salary for this position is between
$106,000 – $146,000
annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
