Accounting Manager
Guide Property Services is a mid‑size management company growing fast. We are looking for an Accounting Manager who wants to grow and succeed with us. We offer a friendly and casual work environment with performance bonuses, medical, dental, and 401k.
Responsibilities
Oversee all day‑to‑day accounting operations for managed properties and work closely with the CFO to develop, implement, and maintain accounting controls, policies and practices.
Reconcile and review bank accounts and financial statements, prepare and review journal entries, and assist with budgets.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Conduct cash flow forecasting and calculate cash flow distributions of the properties.
Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding financial matters, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a positive work environment and professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
5+ years of accounting experience in property management.
Proven working experience as a manager.
Excellent client and internal communication skills.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi‑tasking.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Preferred knowledge of AppFolio property management software.
