US Robotics Assistant Coach

Sidwell Friends School, a coeducational Quaker day school with campuses in NW Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD, is seeking a Robotics Team Assistant Coach to support grades 9-12. The role offers support and supervision of students during weekend robotics team meetings and competitions.
Responsibilities
Provide support and supervision during weekend robotics team meetings and competitions.
Chaperone weekend competitions at the end of each season.
Work 4–8 hours per week, including Sundays 12–4 pm and/or Fridays 4–8 pm.
Qualifications
At least a high school diploma; bachelor’s level coursework is a plus.
Prior experience working with children.
Strong technology, organization, and communication skills.
Flexibility, patience, sense of humor, and a demonstrated love for working with students.
Robotics and/or engineering experience is a plus.
Current CPR/AED certification required; non‑certified candidates may complete the course upon hire.
Compensation
Hourly rate $18.00–$23.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
