Position Details
Outpatient and infusion coverage
Survivorship, acute and routine visits, toxicity visits, chemotherapy teaching, benign hematology management, and infusion coverage
Clinic is open Monday – Friday; Schedule consists of 4 days/10-hour shifts or 5 days/8-hour shifts
Team composition: 2 Physicians, 1 APP
Opportunity for chemo certification and bone marrow biopsy training
Role Description This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) primarily practices in an outpatient setting, managing both solid tumor oncology and hematology patients. The candidate consistently exhibits sound critical thinking abilities and strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Qualified applicants must be proficient in conducting comprehensive histories and physical assessments.
Ideal Candidate
At least 1 year of experience in hematology/oncology working as an APP
Effective communication (written and verbal)
Willingness to collaborate closely with the clinical team
Current knowledge of best practice and standards of care
Displays self-initiative to learn
