We are seeking an experienced
Job Captain (Arch Staff II)
with a strong background in DSA Projects to join our expanding team. This role involves leading the development and coordination of construction documents, managing consultant collaboration, and overseeing the process from agency approval through construction administration.
What You’ll Do
Project Documentation:
Coordinate the development of clear, code-compliant construction documents for educational projects.
Consultant & Vendor Coordination:
Manage and integrate drawings from engineers, consultants, and product vendors to align with the project’s design intent and schedule.
Design Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the project team to ensure design consistency and resolve technical issues.
Agency Approval:
Assist with DSA submittals, track approvals, and respond to agency comments to keep projects on schedule.
Construction Administration:
Support projects through construction by responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site observations to ensure design intent is maintained.
What You Need
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from an accredited school.
4-6+ years of architectural experience with at least 2 years working on DSA projects.
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related design software.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project coordination tools.
Working towards licensure is preferred.
A passion for creating spaces that truly make a difference!
Candidates must be local to Southern California or willing to relocate, and able to work a hybrid schedule with regular site visits.
Note: This is a full-time, direct-hire position. We are unable to sponsor visas at this time.
