Overview
An award-winning Children\'s Hospital in Portland, OR has launched a search for additional pediatric gastroenterologists to join their team. This stand-alone, pediatric hospital is proud to be a level 1 children\'s surgery center and level 1 pediatric trauma center providing comprehensive care throughout the region. This pediatric center offers the best of collaborative medicine as well as therapeutic treatments through art, music, massage, healing gardens, and therapy dogs. Opportunities for outreach in smaller, outlying communities are also available but not required. Position Highlights
Pediatric General GI opportunity, though subspecialty interests can be accommodated. Robust ICN (Improved Care Now) program. Mix of inpatient and outpatient, 32-hr clinical week with 8 hours admin. Benefits package includes CME stipend, student loan repayment, sign-on bonus, and relocation. Non burdensome call, currently 1:4 with goal of 1:6. Mentorship available for graduating fellows. Opportunity to teach medical students and residents. Competitive compensation. Area Highlights
