Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
to join our Primary Care department in Vergennes. This role provides comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, including both pediatric and adult populations. The APP will practice medicine within their scope of practice, based on education, training, and experience, in collaboration with the physician group.
Qualifications Education, Licensure, and Certifications
Physician Assistant (PA):
Graduate of an ARC-PA–accredited program (or prior to January 2001, a CAAHEP-accredited program). Current certification by the NCCPA.
Nurse Practitioner (NP):
Completion of a master’s, post-master’s, or doctorate from an accredited program. Current certification by ANCC or equivalent.
All Candidates Must:
Be board certified/board eligible.
Obtain (or be eligible for) a Vermont NP or PA license.
Hold (or be eligible for) a DEA certificate.
Experience
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a primary care setting as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Details Location: Vergennes, VT
Part-time: 20 hours/week, with 40 scheduled biweekly hours
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $25.00 - $300.00 per hour
