Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider position in the High Point Main - Emergency Medicine department. Status: Full time. Benefits Eligible: Yes. Hours Per Week: 30. Schedule Details/Additional Information: Varies. As an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider, you will work alongside EM Physicians, other EM APPs, and EM nurses and staff to take care of patients and save lives. Though APPs in this role will collaborate with and share all patients with physicians, autonomy is both encouraged and fostered. Our EM APPs will learn to manage acute and chronic conditions with increasing independent expertise and are encouraged to practice at the top of their license. Although the focus of this role is primarily clinical, there will be Career Development opportunities with access to get involved in Education, Administration and Leadership. Each year, approximately 60,000 residents from the High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville and Greensboro areas choose AHWFB High Point Medical Center to care for them in all types of emergencies. High Point, NC Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program Licensed, or eligible, for North Carolina as an NP or PA. Nurse Practitioners must be ENP certified or eligible to sit for ENP boards within 6 months. BLS, ACLS, and ATLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Pay Range
