Clinical Psychologist PRN (Per Required Need)
to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We're all about well-being, starting with yours. This is a position dedicated primarily to testing and comes with a flexible schedule. Dedicated to improving the health of our community, Behavioral Health at Presbyterian Healthcare Services offers treatment for lasting recovery from substance abuse, behavioral health conditions, and psychiatric emergencies. Our full-service program supports adults, children, and adolescents, and includes inpatient services, a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic, intensive outpatient treatment, emergency and consultative services, and behavioral medicine services embedded in primary care. Responsibilities
Performs clinical service, including clinical supervision for all clinical staff within the Behavioral Health Program. Applies the counseling processes and therapeutic use of self to provide quality patient care and education clinical supervision to staff. Provides clinical supervision to staff including therapists, nurses, and behavioral technicians. Ensures staff practice appropriate behavior and skill-based competencies for the respective position. Performs counseling and case management for each patient assigned, including assessment, diagnosis, planning care, intervention (including counseling patients/significant others, facilitating psychotherapy and educational groups), and evaluation (including identifying unmet or new therapy services). Demonstrates the therapeutic core conditions including empathy, warmth, mutual respect, trust, and positive regard when interacting with patients, significant others, and staff according to generally accepted counseling practice. Performs professional clinical duties as the psychologist on staff for patients as needed, according to accepted standards of professional therapeutic practice. Active participation in initiatives to improve clinical and service quality as directed by program administration. Serves in a leadership role regarding the care of patients and appropriate therapeutic intervention. Qualifications
