Responsibilities As Charge Nurse, your role is to act as primary liaison for the care team with physicians, patients, families and all members of the assigned care team. Each shift the oversight of patient safety, quality and regulatory activities flows through you and you’re the one responsible for coordinating patient flow and staff assignments. It’s a tall order and you’re ready to achieve those heights in your career.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred 2 years experience as a staff RN in the area of assignment or demonstrated competency 6 months experience as a Relief Charge RN or in a team leadership role required Licenses and Certifications RN – Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job Disclaimers • Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.• If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.
