Reports to: R&D Team Lead

Your Role: Own the Challenge / Take on the Journey

Define the test specifications for electronic boards.

Collaborate and work closely with the electronic board design team (hardware and firmware) to achieve design for testability.

Support external suppliers in the development of test machines.

Perform functional bench tests on electronic boards and compare them with the results obtained from the test machine.

Validate the testing machines according to the defined processes.

Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment, ensuring it remains fully operational and calibrated.

Analyze test data to identify failures, defects and areas for improvement and work with design and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.

What it takes to run what runs the world

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

At least 3‑5 years of experience in functional testing, specifically for electronic boards or similar products.

Experience in defining and executing functional tests, including the use of automated testing equipment.

Hands‑on experience with the design, setup, and maintenance of testing machinery and equipment.

Strong knowledge of electronic circuits and components, as well as board‑level design principles.

Proficiency with testing tools and equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automated test systems.

Experience with software tools for test automation (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C++) and communication protocols knowledge is highly desirable.

Familiarity with test methodologies such as functional testing, boundary scan testing, and in‑circuit testing (ICT).

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with an ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.

Ability to interpret test data and search for the root cause of failure.
